One way I try out the autofocus on a new camera body is by photographing my tea kettle, which is a nice, reflective metallic model. My wife, Pattie, found this image among several of the kitchen, and she had it printed out in foam backing to serve as decor for our dining room.
Having lived in the Southwest for the past 10 years, Carl Wilkerson has become one of its most thoughtful observers.
