Artist's Description
This is as close to the Grand Canyon as we could afford to get. My cat, my wife and I took an extensive car trip in the southwest in August of 2015. At one point we came to Navajo Bridge, which crosses the Colorado River at point just north of the Canyon. There’s a pedestrian walkway as well as the highway bridge. I shot this image of the river from the east side of the bridge. The colors in this image are true, they are as in real life.

Among his creative, philosophical and intellectual pursuits, photography has become central. "A camera produces both an object, the photograph, and a record of the subjective," Wilkerson observes. "There are so many things I can explain only through a picture. Words are not always enough."
